Dr. Diana Dolliver has over fourteen years of experience studying the global drug trade, and for the past five years has studied international drug markets present on an anonymous corner of the internet known as the Tor Network. In addition to illicit substance trafficking, Dr. Dolliver also studies weapons markets and other forms of criminality on Tor. Undergraduate students have assisted Dr. Dolliver each semester with her Tor-related research by cleaning and coding data from Tor marketplaces, monitoring sites for new trends (e.g., fentanyl), and learning about more general cybersecurity techniques. In addition to her Tor research, Dr. Dolliver is also certified in vehicle systems forensic analysis, and currently has an undergraduate student working with her on related projects.
