The Office for Undergraduate Research would like to welcome Alexis Campbell to our Ambassador team! As an OUR Ambassador, Alexis will work with students to help them achieve their research goals while offering guidance and insight based on her own research experiences. Alexis Campbell is a sophomore at the University of Alabama studying Studio Art and Biology with minors in Neuroscience and Social Innovation + Leadership. Her research interests include health care statistics as they relate to prosecution of medical abuse cases in court, and in the neuroscientific basis for empathy, perspective taking, and creativity. She currently works in Dr. James Hamilton’s lab at the University of Alabama, and in Dr. Diana Tamir’s lab at Princeton University. After her undergraduate education, she hopes to attend an MD/PhD program, and continue to serve her community. She is passionate about helping students make connections on campus in research and volunteering. Welcome to the team Alexis!
