Lauren McLoughlin is a junior from Atlanta, majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Metallurgical Engineering. She is currently involved in undergraduate research on campus for the Materials Engineering and Nanosensors (MEAN) Lab under Dr. Wujcik concentrating in strain sensors using nanofibers and is a second author on a review article for the Advanced Materials Interfaces Journal. She participated in URCA last spring through the Office of Undergraduate Research. After graduation, she hopes to utilize her experience and knowledge she has gained through research to succeed in the workforce through research and development.
