Garrett is a sophomore double majoring in Biology and History with minors in Spanish, Business, and Global Health on the Pre-Medical and Pre-Law tracks. Following graduation he hopes to enroll in a MD/JD program. He first became involved in research through the Emerging Scholars Program during his freshman year, and he is currently conducting research with Dr. Han-A Park in the College of Human Environmental Sciences by investigating the morphology of primary hippocampal neurons in regards to post-translational modification in the B-Cell lymphoma-extra large (Bcl-xL) mitochondrial protein. Outside of research, Garrett is involved with SGA, serves as a resident advisor, and participates in numerous service-based organizations through the CSL. Garrett is excited to connect students with research opportunities that best fit their interests and goals.
